superb breakfast

beautiful walks

It was just a decent option for a couple of nights in Hikutaia with great value-to-price ratio. The breakfast was superb, really enjoyable and made the stay pleasant. Make sure to explore the nearby Karangahake Gorge for beautiful walks.

welcoming hosts

corbett house is a lovely place to stay. it feels like a home base for exploring the peninsula. the outdoor pool was refreshing. anja and david prepared amazing home-cooked breakfasts using their fresh eggs, which were delicious and always filling.

I had an amazing two-night stay here, really loved the luxurious feel of the Queen Room with Balcony. The breakfast was fabulous, and we enjoyed a delightful dinner platter paired with our own wine. The only downside was that the shared bathroom was a bit of a distance from our room.
